MY REVIEW: Dash and Ruby were such a sweet pair, and I had so much fun reading their story! Dash was the definition of a golden retriever MMC—kind, patient, and impossible not to love.

But I have to admit…Beckett completely stole the show for me He was absolutely adorable, and every scene he was in made me smile. His outgoing personality brought so much heart and humor to the story.

Overall, this was a sweet, feel good romance that left me smiling, and I think fans of wholesome hockey romances will really enjoy it

BLURB: Love’s been benched indefinitely…

Dash

Pro hockey player, Dash DiFranco, is quickly skating toward the final buzzer of his career. But not before he hits the highlight—getting invited to play for the Stars: an all-American team representing the West.

To celebrate his last hoorah, he offers his online gaming fan base a chance to win tickets to the first hockey game in the series. And once that’s done, the door to playing professional hockey closes on him—for good. He’ll then need to rely on his live-stream gaming success to carry him through to retirement. At least, that’s the plan.

But the last thing Dash expects at the capstone of his career is to meet a girl who makes him want to chase more than just internet fame.

Ruby

Ruby Pinkerington’s dream of owning a boutique salon has finally come true. But after an unexpected family crisis where she becomes the main caregiver to her younger brother, her dream slows to a near halt.

When he wins tickets to a once-in-a-lifetime hockey game to meet his online gaming icon, Ruby’s happy for a small reprieve for them both. Until said icon waltzes into her salon and ASKS HER OUT days before the actual game.

Now things will be awkward. And Ruby doesn’t do awkward. Not willingly, anyway.

But the meet-and-greet at the game takes an unexpected turn, and Dash makes it his mission to bring Ruby out of her shell. Along the way, sparks ignite, stars align, and a unique connection offers them both a second chance at romance. Even if all they can ever have is two fun, flirty weeks in DC.

I loved watching the relationship between Daisy and Stone unfold. He never gave up on her, gently breaking down her walls piece by piece, and Daisy’s emotional growth was so beautifully written. Their relationship felt genuine, tender, and full of so much heart.

This was such a sweet, swoony slow burn that was nearly impossible to put down. If you love protective heroes and romances that take their time, I definitely recommend adding this one to your TBR

BLURB: What happens when the one person you thought was in your past ends up right in front of you?

Stone Reilly is the guy everyone counts on—the steady hockey star, the loyal teammate, the ultimate good guy. But when an all-star tournament brings him to Washington, DC, the last complication he expects is running into a girl from a part of his life he’d locked away a long time ago. Now she’s all grown up . . . and wants nothing to do with him.

Daisy Bennett is too busy juggling two jobs—including housekeeping at Stone’s hotel—to get tangled up in the past. Their lives couldn’t be more different, and she’s worked too hard to move forward to risk slipping back into old patterns . . . or old feelings.

But between shared hallways, unexpected run-ins, and a hockey player who keeps showing up exactly when she needs someone, Daisy finds herself pulled back to the one person who once made the world feel a little less heavy. And the more time they spend together, the harder it is to ignore what’s still there.

Because some connections don’t break. They wait.

Will they finally get a second chance at the one thing they could never let go of?
