<p class="wp-block-paragraph">MY REVIEW: If you’re looking for a lighthearted romcom that will keep you smiling from beginning to end, this one is worth picking up. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This story had me laughing out loud more than once, and I loved how fun and easy it was to read. It was the perfect mix of humor, heart, and charming character moments.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And can we talk about the nickname <em>Carrot Cake</em>? <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> It might be one of the cutest nicknames I’ve come across in a romance.<br>Adam completely stole the show for me. Between his protective streak and the way he cared for the people around him, he was impossible not to love. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Overall, this was such a fun, feel-good read that left me with a smile on my face.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Small Town <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Opposites Attract <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Hermit MMC<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Secret Dating <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />He Falls First <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Mistaken Identity</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f92c.png" alt="🤬" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />: None <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f336.png" alt="🌶" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />: Kisses Only <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">BLURB: He’s out there somewhere—tall, dark, mysterious, and elusive despite a lifetime of searching.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Stevie Sullivan<br>It started as a simple bet: Can my friends find the perfect man for me before I can prove that Sasquatch exists? Absolutely not. One of those creatures is mythical, and it isn’t Bigfoot. Unfortunately, what started as a friendly wager has been hijacked by our whole town.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adam Sandoval<br>All I want is a quiet life in the woods. Alone. Cue Stevie Sullivan. Between her crazy bet with her friends and her fiery personality, she’s turning my peaceful life upside down. I don’t hate it. I’m a little tired of being mistaken for Sasquatch, though.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One summer, a bazillion blind dates, plus a shirtless forest ranger and a feisty Sasquatch hunter in&nbsp;<em>awfully&nbsp;</em>close proximity? It’s a hairy situation.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Forest Proximity<em>&nbsp;is a dual point-of-view rom-com with nothing explicit, plenty of swoon, and a little Sasquatch. (Well, a&nbsp;</em>big&nbsp;<em>Sasquatch.)&nbsp;</em><em>Book three in the&nbsp;</em>Rumors of Cape Georgeana<em>&nbsp;series, but it can be read as a standalone</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">OVERVIEW: Sweet. Savory. Slightly unhinged. Who doesn’t want a love story like that?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I, Marlow Brown, do not.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I have goals. I run a diner, and I’m saving for a beach vacation where a man who looks like Cristiano Ronaldo serves me drinks in coconuts. I’m also raising my teenage brother. Helping Brady reach adulthood without going to juvie is my top priority—along with teaching him to drive and keeping the truth about him a secret.&nbsp;<em>Minor&nbsp;</em>goals.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I just have to put out the literal fire in my kitchen first.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Luckily, my friend August is here to help. He’s always here—putting out fires, rescuing me from the walk-in fridge, and being way too observant for comfort. Usually, I repay him in pancakes, but I’m starting to suspect he wants something else.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">(Me. August wants&nbsp;<em>me</em>. I’m afraid I might want him, too. And we’re going to mess up all of my plans.)</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Bacon Pancakes<em>&nbsp;is a small-town, friends-to-lovers romcom with nothing explicit, but plenty of swoon. And pancakes. There are lots of pancakes.&nbsp;</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>Book two in the </em>Rumors of Cape Georgeana<em> series, but can be read as a standalone.</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">OVERVIEW: <strong>I never thought I&#8217;d marry my enemy and live in a lighthouse with him—and a bunch of lobsters—but here we are.</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Diana York</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I only came back to Cape Georgeana, Maine, to cry dramatically at the lighthouse and rediscover my&nbsp;<em>joie de vivre</em>. Easy peasy, right?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But I ended up married and living on a tidal island with my new husband—the town golden boy and walking beard advertisement. Still, I&#8217;ll do whatever it takes to save the lighthouse, even if it means living with Ike and his manipulative cologne.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I don’t have to like it.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">(I probably will, though.)</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ike Wentworth</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Of all the bizarre sacrifices I&#8217;ve made for Cape Georgeana, marrying Diana to save the old lighthouse doesn’t even crack the top ten. Sure, she once ran over my mailbox out of spite. I don’t care. I&#8217;ll do whatever it takes to get our weird little town back in the black.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I don’t have to fall for her.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">(I probably will, though.)</p>
