: Kisses Only

OVERVIEW: Some love stories start with a spark. Ours started with a stakeout.

Cassie
I’ve spent years chasing answers and pretending I didn’t already know where my heart was headed.
The cases keep coming, the nights keep getting longer, and Lincoln Suco keeps showing up—calm, infuriating, and impossible to forget.
We’ve survived danger, distance, and a thousand reasons to walk away. But this time, it’s not a client on the line—it’s us.
Love’s always been the mystery I could never solve. Maybe this is the one time I actually get to.

Lincoln
They say every investigator has a weakness. Mine is Cassie Love.
She’s the reason I stayed when I should’ve run, the reason I believe in second chances, and the only chaos I never want to escape.
The agency will go on—there will always be clients—but for me, this story ends right where it should.
Because after everything we’ve faced, it’s always been Just Us.

‘Just Us’ is the fourth and final book in the Investigating Love Series, blending small-town suspense, heartfelt emotion, and the lasting bond between two partners who finally realize that the greatest mystery has always been love.

The beginning of the book was a bit hard to get into. I also didn’t like characters in the beginning and I was close the dnfing the book! But as the story went on it just got better and better! The characters became lovable and the story just drew me in and I finished the book in one day! By the time I was done with this book I was immediately picking up the second book of this series and l’m am so excited to be able to keep on following Cassie and Lincoln in it! 3.5

OVERVIEW: My glittering career as a TV detective implodes when I am suddenly blacklisted from Hollywood.
Desperate for a fresh start, I return to Pinecrest, Montana, where my late father’s detective agency barely survives under the management of my childhood crush, Lincoln Suco.

Lincoln and I form an uneasy alliance when a baffling case falls into our laps.
“Just Partners,” we agree, ignoring the sparks between us.

But as we dive into a world of small-town secrets and unexpected dangers, maintaining professional boundaries proves harder than cracking the case. The years between us seem to vanish, and I can see Lincoln struggling to keep things strictly business with us.

With my big-city dreams in shambles and Lincoln’s past casting long shadows, I have to decide if Pinecrest—and a future with Lincoln Suco—might offer more than I ever imagined.

Could “Just Partners” be only the beginning of our story?

“Just Partners” is the first book in the captivating “Investigating Love Series” that follows the journey of Cassandra Love and Lincoln Suco from reluctant colleagues to something far more complex and heartwarming.

This is the second book in The Investigating LOVE series and I recommend that you read the first one in this series before picking up this book so you get to know the characters and the whole backstory of everything! I really enjoyed this book, I seriously couldn’t put it down and read in under 2 days! I absolutely love the development of Cassie and Lincoln’s relationship and I am VERY excited to see them in book 3 Also this book ends with a cliffhanger that has me so impatient to read the next book

OVERVIEW: “What if the secrets of your past could change how you see your future?
Lincoln Suco and I have come a long way since being ‘Just Partners.’

Now we’re ‘Just Friends.’

We navigate our new dynamic at the Pinecrest Detective Agency with a mix of caution and unspoken attraction. But our carefully built friendship faces its biggest challenge when a mysterious caller threatens to reveal long-buried truths.

As we work to protect our small town from a potential economic disaster, I see new sides of Lincoln. His dedication, humor, and deep loyalty make it harder each day to remember why we’re supposed to be ‘Just Friends.’

With each clue we uncover, the careful distance we’ve maintained starts to melt away. Late nights at the office, shared laughter over coffee, and moments of unexpected tenderness have me is being ‘Just Friends’ enough, or are we on the verge of something beautiful?

This case might solve more than just a mystery—it could be the key to unlocking our hearts. Will uncovering the truth finally give us the courage to explore what we could be together?

‘Just Friends’ is the second book in the heartwarming Investigating Love Series. It follows Cassandra and Lincoln’s journey as they discover that, sometimes, love is the greatest mystery of all.
