MY REVIEW: This story completely stole my heart from the very first chapter

Tank and Rose’s first interactions were some of my favorite moments in the entire book, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning.

One of the things I appreciated most was how thoughtfully this story handled love after loss. Watching both characters learn to open their hearts again was beautiful, and I loved that their relationship was built on honesty, patience, and healthy communication

I was also so excited that we finally learned the story behind Wolf’s bunker Watching his character grow throughout the series was incredibly rewarding.

And the family dynamic? It was one of my favorite parts of the book. The love between Tank and his children added so much warmth and heart to the story, making this feel like the ultimate comfort read.

This was such a beautiful conclusion to the series. It made me laugh, smile, and tear up, and by the final page I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters and the town of Sheet Cake

BLURB: Single dad and former football star Tank Graham has watched his children find love in the town of Sheet Cake, Texas. Now, it’s his turn.

Theodore “Tank” Graham has spent the years since his wife died investing fully in raising his children and helping them find their happiness. And, more recently, buying and revitalizing the town of Sheet Cake, Texas.

Now, it’s time to find his own happiness.

But turning his focus to himself is easier said than done when he’s spent so long putting others first.

That is until a building issue leaves Rose Roberts, the newest baker in Sheet Cake, without a kitchen or a place to sleep.

Tank steps in to help–but only because as the owner of the building where she lives and works, it’s his duty.

But duty isn’t why he finds himself giving up his own loft for her or buying every baking supply Rose could possibly need while her commercial kitchen is out of commission.

Tank finds himself lingering in her presence, prolonging conversations, and thinking about her far more often than he should. Especially when he has a new grandbaby to fuss over, a collapsing house to renovate, and Wolf Waters to support in his mayoral race.

Still–the pull toward Rose becomes hard to resist. And why should he? For the first time since he lost his wife, Tank is feeling something big.

It’s been literal decades since he’s been in a relationship, but Tank has always lived by a go big or don’t even think about going home philosophy.

And now … the idea of home doesn’t sound complete. Not without Rose.

MY REVIEW: If you’re looking for a Christian romantic suspense that keeps you turning pages while weaving in a sweet romance, this one is definitely worth adding to your TBR.

The suspense kept me hooked from beginning to end, and the fast paced story made it so easy to fly through. I loved how the romance complemented the mystery without taking away from the action, creating a great balance between the two.

This is the third book in the series, and I definitely recommend reading them in order. Each book builds on the previous one, making the characters, relationships, and overarching story even more rewarding.

BLURB: Fifteen years of secrets. One chance for justice.

Just as wildlife veterinarian Paradise Alden begins to envision a future with Blake Lawson, the ghosts of her past return with a vengeance. The murder of her parents has shadowed her for fifteen years, but a new threat brings the cold case into the terrifying present. A trained leopard–a chilling embodiment of Paradise’s deepest fears–is now stalking her.

Haunted by resurfacing memories, Paradise, Blake, and her newfound brother, Drew, follow a trail of clues that leads them into a web of dark family secrets. The deeper they dig, the more shocking the connections become, linking their families to a dangerous conspiracy that someone is still willing to kill to protect.

With every step closer to the truth, the killer becomes more desperate. Paradise, Blake, and Drew must race to expose a murderer who has remained hidden for fifteen years, but this time, they are the ones being stalked. If they can’t unmask the killer, the past will destroy both the fragile future Paradise and Blake are trying to build and the family she has finally found with her brother.

A conspiracy of lemurs is a family. But a conspiracy of people can be deadly.

MY REVIEW: One of my favorite things about this story was the close-knit Rhodes family. Their relationships added so much warmth and heart to the book, and I loved getting to spend time with all of them

This book had me smiling from beginning to end. Nathan and Gracie completely won me over, and I found myself rooting for them every step of the way

And those notebook notes? My heart absolutely melted. The way Nathan encouraged Gracie, supported her dreams, and was always cheering her on made him impossible not to love. He was such a thoughtful, caring hero. If I have one complaint, it’s that I would have loved a few chapters from Nathan’s POV!

I also really enjoyed the side story involving Gracie’s mom and her dating life. It added an extra layer of charm and humor to the story and was so much fun to follow along with.

Overall, this was such a sweet, heartwarming read that left me with a smile on my face long after I finished

BLURB: Gracie Rhodes has a secret. She’s just moved back home with a degree in dance after finishing college, and while her family and old dance studio are ecstatic to have her back in Sweet River, she recently had an audition that might whisk her away to NYC.
She’s not telling anyone…except for Nathan Hadaway, the older brother of her longtime crush, but only because she ran into him in New York during her secret audition. Luckily for her, she never sees Nathan around anymore.
Or never did…until he shows up at the dance class she’s teaching over the summer to pick up his niece. But maybe it isn’t so bad to have someone she can talk to about her big opportunity?
Nathan and Gracie decide to do more than just swap secrets: if she’ll give him dance lessons so he can help his niece for the upcoming Father and Daughter dance competition, he’ll play matchmaker and give her help in the dating department.
Nathan proves to be a pretty bad matchmaker constantly distracting his student from her potential suitors. And as a dance instructor, Gracie can’t seem to find anything wrong with being in his arms.
Gracie’s not sure where her future leads…except that she just might want to spend it with Nathan.

MY REVIEW:If you’re looking for a sweet, heartwarming romance with all the cozy Hallmark vibes, this one is worth adding to your TBR

I fell in love with these characters almost immediately and found myself completely invested in their story. Between the beach town setting, the slow burn romance, and the charming cast of characters, this was such an easy book to get lost in.

Lila was an absolute highlight for me She brought so much humor and personality to the story, and I found myself smiling every time she was on the page.

This felt like the perfect summer read, warm, comforting, and impossible to put down

And can we talk about Aiden? After finishing this book, I’m officially hoping he gets a story of his own because I would love to spend more time in this world.

Overall, this was such a sweet, feel good read that left me with a smile on my face long after I turned the final page

OVERVIEW: A billionaire hiding from his future. A café owner rebuilding her life. One small beach town is about to change everything.

Max Bauer has a decision to make: agree to the marriage arrangement his father demands or finally choose a future for himself. The last thing he expects is to feel at home in Penrose Beach—or to fall for the guarded café owner who gives him a ride into town after his car breaks down.

Avery Parker didn’t move to the beach looking for love. She came for a fresh start. But somewhere between apartment renovations, town events, and late-night conversations, Max starts feeling less like a temporary visitor…and more like home.

There’s just one problem: Max’s real life is still waiting for him in New York.
And Avery already knows what it feels like to come second to someone else’s plans.

MY REVIEW: If you love playful banter, plenty of tension, and romances that have you smiling the whole way through, this one is worth adding to your TBR

The chemistry between Logan and Tessa was so much fun, and their interactions had me grinning more than once. There were definitely a few moments that had me kicking my feet and hoping they would finally figure things out

One of my favorite parts of the story was watching both characters grow throughout the book. Their individual journeys added so much depth to the romance and made it easy to root for them.

By the end, I was already excited to pick up the next book in the series

BLURB: My best friend’s older brother is back in town.

Do I care? Not one bit. Logan may have been my childhood crush, but I’ve always been little Tessa to him. Not to mention, he’s turned into a shallow flirt and I’m not looking to get played again.

What’s the problem, you ask? (Besides all the flirting.)

Thanks to a scheming mutual friend, Logan and I find ourselves embroiled in a bet of absurd proportions. Now, instead of ignoring Logan and keeping my heart safely locked away, we have a date every Saturday night and a kiss looming on the horizon.

And the line between us is getting… muddy.

As long as Logan stays the shallow flirt, I’ll be fine. My heart is safe from the player. It’s the man underneath giving me a run for my money

MY REVIEW: This was such a comfort read, and I absolutely loved every minute of it

Dustin was an easy favorite from the very beginning. He’s the definition of a golden retriever hero—kind, caring, and impossible not to love

And can we talk about Dustin’s mom? Her 70s slang had me laughing the entire book. She brought so much charm and humor to every scene she was in.

This story was filled with so many sweet moments, but the one that completely stole my heart? He sings her to sleep I don’t think I’ll ever recover from that.

Between the baking competition, the cozy small-town feel, and the lovable cast of characters, this book felt like wrapping up in a warm blanket with a favorite dessert and settling in for the evening.

By the time I reached the last page, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters. I already can’t wait to read more in this series

: Descriptive Kisses
: None

BLURB: Talk about making a bad first impression.

The rookie at Waterford’s fire station literally hauled me out of my own home—over his shoulder. Was my kitchen on fire? Yes. Did I have it nearly contained? Also yes.

And now he’s been tasked with making up for his overzealous rescue attempts by showing up to my bakery to grovel daily. And beg for my donuts.

Don’t get me wrong, the man is built like a redwood, has the personality of a golden retriever and eyes you could get lost in for days.

But I’m not dating. Not after my last serious boyfriend left town without looking back. I’m devoted to three things: my hometown, my bakery, and my friends.

That is until an opportunity to enter a baking contest catches my eye. And I need a partner. Enter the rookie. Yes, the same one who easily lifted me and slung me over his shoulder. My best friend and business partner, bless her heart, suggests we fake a relationship—just for the sake of the contest. It seems like a simple fix.

Don’t worry. It’s not like I’m going to fall for him. I’m immune to his charms. Mostly.

Fire and Icing is a sweet, closed-door romcom with kisses that might require a fire extinguisher. This stand-alone story is the first in the series The Firemen of Waterford TN.

MY REVIEW: This was such a fun, summery romcom that felt perfect for reading on a sunny afternoon.

I was hooked by the story right away and loved the lighthearted, feel-good atmosphere. The romance was sweet, and there were plenty of moments that made me smile along the way.

While I personally would have loved a little more character development and a faster pace in some sections, I still enjoyed spending time with these characters and seeing their story unfold

One of my favorite parts of the book was the side characters. Heath had me laughing more than once, and Beau quickly became another favorite. Their interactions with Tristan added so much humor and charm to the story.

The ending took a little longer to get to than I expected, but I’m always a fan of a happy ending, and this one left me smiling.

Hidden Identity
Single POV
Slow Burn
Unrequited Love
Best Selling Author
Small Island

: Kisses Only
: None

BLURB: The book is always better than the movie. But occasionally, life is better than the book.

Ten years ago I made a mortifying, life-altering mistake. Now, this once seemingly insignificant choice is threatening to wreck my entire existence. And possibly throw Tristan Palmer—my next-door-neighbor and the guy I’ve had a secret crush on for the entirety of my life—into the fray unaware.

The mistake?

I am Sunny Palmer. As in the anonymous, best-selling author of over a dozen beloved romances and renowned thief of Tristan’s last name. Okay, not renowned yet, thank the high heavens! But that news will spread like wildfire if people discover that this introverted book nerd is the woman behind the pen name. And the fact that my first book, Secret Crush, is Tristan’s and my fictionalized love story leaves zero room for calling it anything but what it is—a travesty of greatest proportions.

That’s why NO ONE can know! Ever!

So it’s wretched luck that when I finally visit Sunset Harbor, the small-town island where I grew up, I run into the still heart-stopping, book-boyfriend-worthy man himself. And shockingly, Tristan seems intent on reminding me what the island has to offer. Because that’s what friends do.

Logic demands I resist his charm and guard my secret at all costs, which is why it’s vastly unfortunate that Tristan Palmer was and always will be … my greatest weakness.

Plotting Summer is a small-town island romantic comedy with the perfect amount of swoon and none of the explicit scenes or language. Read the rest of the Falling for Summer series–seven standalone romances with interconnected characters, all falling in love in Sunset Harbor.

MY REVIEW: If you’re looking for a lighthearted romcom that will keep you smiling from beginning to end, this one is worth picking up.

This story had me laughing out loud more than once, and I loved how fun and easy it was to read. It was the perfect mix of humor, heart, and charming character moments.

And can we talk about the nickname Carrot Cake? It might be one of the cutest nicknames I’ve come across in a romance.
Adam completely stole the show for me.
Adam Sandoval
All I want is a quiet life in the woods. Alone. Cue Stevie Sullivan.
MY REVIEW: Words are honestly failing me trying to explain how much I loved this book

This story felt like the warmest hug on a day you desperately need one. The kind of book that wraps around your heart and stays there long after you turn the last page.

The notes, the trip, the list… every little piece of this story felt so special. I laughed, I cried (a lot ), and I loved every second of it.

And Milo He was so beautifully imperfect in the most endearing way—the kind of character who feels achingly real and impossible not to love.

The faith elements were woven in so naturally and added such a beautiful layer of depth and comfort to the story.
This is 100% becoming one of my ultimate comfort reads

Content Warnings: Things from the past that are recounted in the story: childhood abandonment, car accident, season of depression.

Content Warnings: mention of extramarital affairs, emotional neglect and manipulation by a parent to their adult children, and depiction a of panic attacks.

BLURB: Spring is a time for love and growth, whether you expected it or not.

Jesse Romano, an ex ER nurse, wasn’t interested in having useless small talk with the locals, participating in community events, or going to church like everyone else in town. He only wanted three things when he moved to the small town, Magnolia Meadows, Virginia: to open his own tea shop at the end of Spring, be near his family, and live a quiet life to help manage his anxiety. However, when he finds himself falling for Magnolia Meadows resident, Ms. Sunshine, he wonders if maybe everything he wanted to avoid is worth the involvement, after all.

Ophelia Bennett, Magnolia Meadows, Ms. Sunshine – as Jesse has coined her – has nothing to complain about. She owns and runs what she considers her second home: her grandmother’s flower shop. She lives with her best friend and grumpy cat, and she is surrounded by many friends and family. Life is great! Well…almost great. After her father’s affair came to light ten years ago, Ophelia has been living in fear. Fear of losing her relationship with her father. Also, fear of falling in love with someone who could change and walk away.

As Ophelia and Jesse grow closer to each other, they’re faced with learning how to address their own anxieties, while learning how to love each other for who they are and the people they can become.
