<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I am loving this series and am SO excited for more to come<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f495.png" alt="💕" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The storyline started off a little slowly for me, but things really picked up in the second half and I found myself enjoying it much more!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I absolutely loved the yearning on Donald’s part<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> It was so well done! And the dual timelines worked beautifully together, adding so much to the story.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I was SO happy to see Donald and Madelene finally get their much deserved happily ever after<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f970.png" alt="🥰" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Historical Fiction<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f49c.png" alt="💜" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Dual Timeline<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Second Chance Romance<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f49c.png" alt="💜" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Hidden Identity<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> He Yearns for Her</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BLURB:</strong> Lord Donald Bradley has always done what is right, noble and honorable. So when his parents pressure him to marry, he forces himself to look beyond his own desires, and do what he can to measure up to the dream they have for him. But what they don&#8217;t realize is that his heart was stolen long ago, and he has no idea how to give it to another.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Madelene Curtis has lived not one life, but two. Now going under an assumed name and hiding from those who might wish to throw her into the gaol, she works in the quiet and obscure life of a lady&#8217;s companion. But when she is confronted with her past in the most intimate of ways—in that of a handsome future marquess she once loved—she is now forced to battle between her old wants and desires, and what will keep her safe.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Can two loves, suddenly separated, find a way back together?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was such an entertaining read! I absolutely LOVED Marlowe’s grandma, she had me laughing so much <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f602.png" alt="😂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> She definitely stole the show with this one!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I really enjoyed the combination of second chance romance + fake dating, although I struggled with Jace’s character at first. The way he tried to make Marlowe seem like such a horrible person to his entire family was pretty off putting to me. And fake dating your ex to prove that she’s <em>worse</em> than your current (on-a-break) girlfriend? JACE. SIR. That is not a great look<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f602.png" alt="😂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He did redeem himself for me as the story went on, though! I especially loved how supportive and encouraging he was of Marlowe’s ideas and dreams<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Overall, this was a fun, quirky second chance romance with plenty of family drama, ridiculous situations, and a meddling grandma who was easily one of my favorite parts of the entire book<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f602.png" alt="😂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Fake Dating<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Small Town<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Family Drama<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Second Chance Romance<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> High School Sweethearts<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Meddling Grandma</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BLURB: </strong>He needs a fake girlfriend. She needs someone to watch her grandmother. It should have been the perfect business arrangement… if they hadn’t already broken each other’s hearts.<br><br>Seven years ago, Marlowe fell hard for Jace Clark. He was handsome, smart, and going places—going places, in this case, meant he went to college without giving her a second thought.<br><br>Yeah, she only cried for two weeks after he dumped her. And after that, she refused to ever tell another guy that she loved him. So, a normal teenage breakup.<br><br>Marlowe hasn’t gone places and still lives in the same small town, but that isn’t her fault. She’s the caretaker for her spirited grandmother, and keeping Grams out of trouble is harder than it looks.<br><br>Now Jace is back in Lark Springs for six weeks before finishing medical school, and his family has made it their mission to replace his on-again, off-again girlfriend. To avoid their matchmaking attempts, he decides his best bet is to fake-date Marlowe, and when he offers to stay with her grandmother so she can attend business classes, she can’t afford to say no.<br><br>A few fake dates shouldn’t be <em>that</em> hard.<br><br>Until the old chemistry comes back. Suddenly stolen kisses stop being pretend, and Marlowe realizes that the only thing more dangerous than falling in love again is realizing she never really fell out of it.<br><br>When it’s time for Jace to leave, will history repeat itself or will they find a way to rewrite their past?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was such a fun grumpy x sunshine romance! There was some <strong>genuine loathing</strong> happening in that first half<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f602.png" alt="😂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> which made watching their relationship slowly change that much more fun.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And precious little Anna<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> She absolutely stole my heart!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I really enjoyed the character development in this one. Both MCs had a lot to work through, which gave the story so much depth, and I loved watching their relationship develop along the way. And the <strong>slow burn was SO good</strong><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f60d.png" alt="😍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Overall, this was such an enjoyable sports romance with a great mix of emotional moments, tension, and sweetness<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is book two in the <em>River Foxes Football Romance</em> series, but the books can be read in order or as standalones<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BLURB:</strong> Three months. Two enemies. Under one roof. Everything could go wrong. But what if they’ve stumbled into something right?<br><br>Lawrence Poe, tight end for the Green Bay River Foxes, is a type-A control freak who functions best when his house is clean, his spreadsheets are updated, and his protein shakes are precisely measured. Adding a four-year-old to his structured schedule isn’t going to be easy, but his sister needs him to watch his niece, and he always shows up for his family. Still, with training camp and other football commitments, Lawrence can’t watch Ana alone. Enter Beni Fitzgerald—his sister’s best friend and Ana’s Godmother—a woman who threatens every aspect of his controlled, orderly life.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">An artistic free spirit, Beni Fitzgerald is a type-B dreamer who lives by the mantra all will be well. No, she wouldn’t choose to spend the summer living with a man who is her polar opposite, but she’ll do anything for her Goddaughter, even if that puts her directly in the path of Lawrence Poe. Beni has always yearned for a place to belong, and Lawrence made it clear it’s not with him after he gave her the best kiss of her life five years ago only to pull away and call it all a mistake.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But their forced proximity requires compromise, and as the duo grows in understanding and trust, both Lawrence and Beni realize this could be a summer of second chances.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Okay, I absolutely LOVED this book<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f929.png" alt="🤩" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> What an amazing start to the series! I’m already dying to get my hands on the rest of the books!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was genuinely impossible to put down. The sizzling chemistry and banter between the MCs was TOP TIER<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f60d.png" alt="😍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> I was completely hooked on these two and ate up every interaction between them.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And OH. MY. WORD. <strong>CHAPTER 28?!?</strong> <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f62d.png" alt="😭" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> My heart absolutely melted into a puddle. I was simultaneously crying, giggling, and swooning<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f602.png" alt="😂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> It was so ridiculously sweet!!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was such a fun, swoony small-town romance and the perfect start to the series. I already know I’m going to be obsessed with these books<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f496.png" alt="💖" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Summer Daniels built her life on land she doesn&#8217;t own, for a family that could take it back the second Jaxon Chance decides he wants it. Even though she works for Lucky Chance Ranch, Wildflower Farms is hers—the one thing she&#8217;s built entirely on her own. She&#8217;s got no interest in reliving the past, and even less interest in the infuriating hockey player who broke her heart on his way out the door after high school.<br><br>Jaxon Chance built his whole identity on hockey. A career-ending injury just took that away, and it&#8217;s sent him back to the last place he ever wanted to be—his family&#8217;s horse farm, now failing under a mountain of debt. The only way to save it is to run the place alongside his three brothers, under the terms of a will that gives them no choice.<br><br>What he didn&#8217;t plan on was Summer Daniels, running her business on his family&#8217;s land, making him remember exactly what he walked away from.<br><br>But somewhere between their first fight and long days working the horses side by side, something shifts. Summer stops bracing for the day he leaves again. And Jaxon stops pretending he wants to go.<br><br>The farm is what brought him home. But she might be the reason he finally stays.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Lily’s Content Guide</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f48b.png" alt="💋" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Romance level: Kisses Only<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f5e3.png" alt="🗣" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Language: None <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4da.png" alt="📚" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Genre: Contemporary Romance <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f380.png" alt="🎀" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Lily’s verdict: Absolutely adored <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f496.png" alt="💖" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was SUCH a fun read! The pranks and shenanigans had me laughing so much <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f602.png" alt="😂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> I seriously loved the creativity and never knew what these two were going to do next!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I absolutely loved the way the dual timeline was written. Ben’s POV takes place in the past while Maven’s is in the present, and the two timelines slowly come together as the story unfolds<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f60d.png" alt="😍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> It made their history and everything that happened between them so much more interesting to uncover!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And the second chance romance was done SO well<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> I loved getting to see Ben and Maven as high school sweethearts while also watching them navigate their relationship years later. There’s so much history, hurt, and love between these two, and I was completely invested in seeing them find their way back to each other.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But the vow renewal?! <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f62d.png" alt="😭" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f62d.png" alt="😭" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> That absolutely got me. It was so incredibly precious and heart melting and such a beautiful payoff after everything they had been through.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This book had me laughing one minute and tearing up the next. Such a sweet, hilarious, and heartfelt second chance romance<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f497.png" alt="💗" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Dual Timelines <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Small Town <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Second Chance Romance <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />High School Sweethearts<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Court Order Reconciliation<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Pranks &amp; Shenanigans </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BLURB:</strong> Their divorce never finalized. Neither did their feelings.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The discovery that I was still legally married — years after I thought my divorce was final — was supposed to be the worst thing to happen to me this fall.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It wasn’t.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Because apparently the state of Vermont believes in closure. And no regrets. And court-ordered thirty-day reconciliation efforts. So now, in order to fast-track my divorce from Bennett Walker—my high school sweetheart and the man who walked out on our marriage six years ago—I’m being forced back to the small town we grew up in to spend an entire month proving our relationship isn’t worth saving.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A situation Ben annoyingly finds amusing.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Which is why I plan to make this the most memorable, insufferable, torturous thirty days of his life. As a prank-loving aficionado, I have countless ideas about how to drive Ben crazy while keeping myself focused on the goal: finalizing our divorce.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With my life in New York and a career I absolutely love, not even deeply embedded habits and old feelings can threaten my resolve.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I’m resolved.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>So</em>&nbsp;resolved.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>Absolutely, definitely, one hundred percent</em>&nbsp;resolved. And if I keep saying it, maybe this time around, I’ll be capable of resisting the fall.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="1080" height="1350" loading="lazy" src="https://i0.wp.com/lilysreadingcorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Untitled_Artwork-528-1.png?fit=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-2931" style="aspect-ratio:0.7998266271761901;width:356px;height:auto" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/lilysreadingcorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Untitled_Artwork-528-1.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w, https://i0.wp.com/lilysreadingcorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Untitled_Artwork-528-1.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/lilysreadingcorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Untitled_Artwork-528-1.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/lilysreadingcorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Untitled_Artwork-528-1.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/lilysreadingcorner.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Untitled_Artwork-528-1.png?resize=600%2C750&amp;ssl=1 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure>

    </a>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I absolutely adored this book<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2764.png" alt="❤" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> I think this has officially become one of my favorite second chance romances. There was so much heart woven into this story, and I loved watching everything unfold.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Little Khia completely stole my heart<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f970.png" alt="🥰" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Her bubbly personality was absolutely precious, and I loved every moment with her!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I also loved the relationship between the MCs and getting to see them navigate their history while finding their way back to one another. Second chance romance can be so hit or miss for me, but this one did it SO well<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And the themes of grace, redemption, forgiveness, and faith were beautifully woven throughout the story. There were several moments that genuinely had me tearing up<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2764.png" alt="❤" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Between the second chance romance, single dad sweetness, faith themes, and all the emotion, this one completely had my heart. Such a beautiful story<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f497.png" alt="💗" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f3d2.png" alt="🏒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Hockey Romance<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Single Dad<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f3d2.png" alt="🏒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Faith Themes<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Second Chance Romance<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f3d2.png" alt="🏒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Chronic Illness Rep<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Golden Retriever MMC</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BLURB:</strong> <em>I came home looking for redemption, not a second chance with the man my heart never forgot&#8230;&nbsp;</em><br><br><strong>Noelle:</strong><br>Running away a month before my wedding was the hardest choice I ever made. But crawling back thirteen years later with my life in shambles might be worse.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I’m jobless and homeless with a laundry list of apologies to make. But as an eldest daughter, my motto is “I’m fine.” Only it’s not fine, and I’m tired of pretending.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I have a place to live, thanks to my conniving little sister, but my landlord is NOT supposed to be my ex-fiancé, hockey captain, Cal Satterfield. He’s not supposed to be my new boss either. But his daughter needs a nanny, and I’ve always been a sucker for those blue eyes.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I have plenty of bridges to mend, and Cal wants to break down the walls between us. Like a second chance is possible.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If only I were brave enough to believe it.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Cal:</strong> <br>Thirteen years, two months, and seventeen days.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That’s how long I’ve waited for the girl who got away. And finally, Noelle Shepherd is back.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Logically, I shouldn’t find her this enchanting. And I definitely shouldn’t hire her as my daughter’s nanny. However, logic has never been my strong suit.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It might be the worst decision I’ve ever made, or the second chance I’ve always prayed for. Because despite the history between us, Noelle is still the one I want to come home to.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I’ll do everything I can to prove to her I’ve changed. This time, I’m playing for keeps.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>MY REVIEW: </strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Lily’s Content Guide</strong><br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f48b.png" alt="💋" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Romance level: Kisses Only<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f5e3.png" alt="🗣" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Language: 2 uses of h*ll<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/26a0.png" alt="⚠" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Content Warning: narcissistic parent <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4da.png" alt="📚" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Genre: Contemporary Romance <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f380.png" alt="🎀" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Lily’s verdict: <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> It was good </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I have some mixed feelings about this one! There were definitely aspects I enjoyed, especially the cozy small town setting and all the fall vibes<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90e.png" alt="🤎" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For some reason though, I struggled to fully connect with the story for most of the book. I kept feeling like I was missing a little piece of the story, and it wasn’t until toward the very end that everything finally started clicking for me.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I also had a harder time connecting with the FMC and since the story is told entirely from her POV, I think that played a big part in why I didn’t become quite as invested as I wanted to.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That being said, I <strong>did</strong> enjoy the story more as it went on, and I thought the ending brought everything together really well! I also loved the cozy fall atmosphere, small town setting, and second chance romance<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While this particular story didn’t completely click for me personally, I can definitely see it being a great fit for readers who love cozy fall romances, mutual pining, second chances, and forced proximity<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90e.png" alt="🤎" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I’m excited to continue through the series and see what the next story has in store<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f970.png" alt="🥰" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f383.png" alt="🎃" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Second Chance Romance <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Dual Timeline <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f383.png" alt="🎃" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Small Town <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90e.png" alt="🤎" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Mutual Pining <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f383.png" alt="🎃" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Forced Proximity <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f342.png" alt="🍂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Fall Read</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>Thank you so much to Gracie Ruth Mitchell for sending me a copy! I’m part of the Scream Team for this series, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BLURB:</strong> What happens when two exes find out their parents are dating?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When Reese and Dominic secretly dated and then broke up years ago, they knew they’d have to see each other again. They were from the same small town of Autumn Ridge, Vermont. Their families still lived there. It was inevitable.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What Reese didn’t expect was to see Dominic across the table from her, being introduced as the son of her mother’s latest boyfriend.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dom and Reese can be exes. They can be neighbors. They could even maybe someday be friends. What they&nbsp;<em>cannot</em>&nbsp;be is siblings.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But Reese’s mother has her eyes on the prize, and she’s not walking away without a ring on her finger. So even though part of Reese’s heart still hurts from the past they share, she and Dominic agree to team up and separate their parents.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Spying? A necessity. Sneaking around? Obviously. And sabotage? Well…never say never.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But the further apart they attempt to push their parents, the closer Reese and Dom get—until the lines between past and present begin to blur, and they find themselves with the stickiest conundrum of all: owning the truth of what really happened between them…and deciding if their love deserves a second chance.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BLURB:</strong> What’s a movie star to do when giving up the spotlight could hurt the ones he loves most?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">My agent has this idea—an insanely bad idea—to reboot my Hollywood heartthrob status by having my long-lost love dump me … while I’m proposing to her on national TV.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The theory? Women everywhere will swoon over poor Lincoln James, scrambling to repair his vulnerable, shattered heart.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Trouble is, I don’t have any kind of love—long, lost, or otherwise.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To play my fake girlfriend, my agent enlists Hadley Morgan, my secret college crush. The one who dragged me to an audition that launched my career but left her in the dust.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Upping the ante, she offers Hadley a slot on the show she missed out on years ago. When the alternative publicity ploy is for reporters to dig up dirt on my family, I’ve got no choice but to go along with the ruse.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That’s why I’m in Harvest Hollow now—as one half of the dream couple HadLink—at least until Hadley explodes our relationship during a very public proposal.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Our breakup’s built into this deal. Too bad I’ve got real love for this woman.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">But if I come clean, I risk Hadley’s big break, my family’s painful past, and my own rebooted heart …</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">MY REVIEW: This story completely stole my heart from the very first chapter<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tank and Rose’s first interactions were some of my favorite moments in the entire book, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the things I appreciated most was how thoughtfully this story handled love after loss. Watching both characters learn to open their hearts again was beautiful, and I loved that their relationship was built on honesty, patience, and healthy communication<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f979.png" alt="🥹" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I was also so excited that we finally learned the story behind Wolf’s bunker<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f602.png" alt="😂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f389.png" alt="🎉" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Watching his character grow throughout the series was incredibly rewarding.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And the family dynamic? It was one of my favorite parts of the book. The love between Tank and his children added so much warmth and heart to the story, making this feel like the ultimate comfort read.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was such a beautiful conclusion to the series. It made me laugh, smile, and tear up, and by the final page I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters and the town of Sheet Cake<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f495.png" alt="💕" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

Especially when he has a new grandbaby to fuss over, a collapsing house to renovate, and Wolf Waters to support in his mayoral race.<br><br>Still&#8211;the pull toward Rose becomes hard to resist. And why should he? For the first time since he lost his wife, Tank is feeling something big.<br><br>It&#8217;s been literal decades since he&#8217;s been in a relationship, but Tank has always lived by a go big or don&#8217;t even <em>think</em> about going home philosophy.<br><br>And now &#8230; the idea of home doesn&#8217;t sound complete. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">MY REVIEW: If you’re looking for a Christian romantic suspense that keeps you turning pages while weaving in a sweet romance, this one is definitely worth adding to your TBR. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The suspense kept me hooked from beginning to end, and the fast paced story made it so easy to fly through. I loved how the romance complemented the mystery without taking away from the action, creating a great balance between the two.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is the third book in the series, and I definitely recommend reading them in order. Each book builds on the previous one, making the characters, relationships, and overarching story even more rewarding.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Second Chance Romance <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Sabotage <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Romantic Suspense <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Christian Romance <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2728.png" alt="✨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Overcoming Pain Themes <br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f90d.png" alt="🤍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Animal Sanctuary </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f336.png" alt="🌶" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />: Kisses Only<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f92c.png" alt="🤬" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />: None<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/26a0.png" alt="⚠" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Mentions of past sexual assault and attempted murder<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2b50.png" alt="⭐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">BLURB: Fifteen years of secrets. One chance for justice.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Just as wildlife veterinarian Paradise Alden begins to envision a future with Blake Lawson, the ghosts of her past return with a vengeance. The murder of her parents has shadowed her for fifteen years, but a new threat brings the cold case into the terrifying present. A trained leopard&#8211;a chilling embodiment of Paradise&#8217;s deepest fears&#8211;is now stalking her.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Haunted by resurfacing memories, Paradise, Blake, and her newfound brother, Drew, follow a trail of clues that leads them into a web of dark family secrets. The deeper they dig, the more shocking the connections become, linking their families to a dangerous conspiracy that someone is still willing to kill to protect.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With every step closer to the truth, the killer becomes more desperate. Paradise, Blake, and Drew must race to expose a murderer who has remained hidden for fifteen years, but this time, they are the ones being stalked. If they can&#8217;t unmask the killer, the past will destroy both the fragile future Paradise and Blake are trying to build and the family she has finally found with her brother.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>A conspiracy of lemurs is a family. But a conspiracy of people can be deadly.</em></p>
