I absolutely adored Fabiana’s wit and skills in writing throughout the entire book.
I always love a good royal romance book and if you’re looking for an enemies to lovers, forced proximity read, then this is a great choice for you!
Some internal thoughts while reading:
- I’m sorry but how many times can Max describe her as sexy before it’s too much? Apparently there’s not a limit🤣🤣 as well as calling her hot🫠 a little too much…or actually a lot too much!!
- Why do you have to use the word ‘flesh’???? It gives me the ick, just use the word ‘skin’ please!!!!
- It just seems a bit lusty on Max’s part. It felt like he was written from a man’s perspective and not a woman’s perspective if that makes sense🤔 iykyk
- It started out as the saying that men only want you for one thing…from Max’s perspective he was only thinking of her body and not her! Hate when it’s written like that! But in the end it was as more focused on not the physical connection but the emotional and mental connections, which is how I wish it was through the entirety of the story!
- That all being said, Max was still a sweetheart at times and I still kinda liked him lol.
