MY REVIEW: I don’t know. This one just didn’t seem to click for me. I’m not sure why but the story didn’t really seem to flow and the MCs just didn’t really have any chemistry. I did love Laney’s Grandparents so much though, they were so adorable.
This is the 4th installment in The Love Playbook Series which can all be read as stand-alones or in order or release!

OVERVIEW: Some lines are painted on the field. Others are drawn around your heart.
Laney Zelinski knows how to keep things professional. As a sideline reporter, she thrives in the chaos of game day—but off camera, she wishes for someone steady beside her.
Burton knows how to play the game. On the field, reading lines comes easy. Off the field, crossing into anything serious doesn’t. Not when his life feels anything but stable.
After a chaotic fan event, a fainting goat named Pearl, and an unexpected kiss under fireworks pull them together, neither of them stops to define what’s happening. It’s easier not to ask. Easier not to name it.
Until the feelings start to matter.
Now they have to decide—stay safely undefined… or risk crossing the line for something real.
