The Holiday Assist by Taylor Epperson

This was a cute holiday novella! Parker had a childhood crush on Juliet, but she was his sister’s best friend and a bit older than him. Fast forward 6 years later, Parker and Juliet met up again at a Christmasy small town resort where they spend the week together and Parker realizes those childhood feelings have come back with a vengeance😂
This is the 5th book in The Peppermint Playbook Series which can be reading in order or each as standalones!

My internal thoughts while reading
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Parker is so smitten, it’s adorable😍
Blair, what exactly is the problem here🤨
I love the entire gym time 😂🥰
I so love Parker’s tattoo and the reason behind it🥹
Blair is the star of this story😂😂
The thing with Axel was a little weird, seemed like it was missing an actually ending or something.

I rated this 3.5⭐️

OVERVIEW: Confession #1: I think my best friend’s brother is totally hot.

How was I supposed to know that he’s no longer a lanky teenage boy? And my best friend would end up getting sick, which is how we end up nestled in this overly romantic Christmas resort which has the signs of a Hallmark movie in the making.

Confession #2: The last thing I need is to fall for my best friend’s brother.

I can’t date right now. After my ankle injury last year—and the incident that shall not be named—I need to put all of my attention on soccer, which is precisely why I decided to come to the athletic charity event at this ski resort in Colorado.

But when my not-so-lovely ex shows up, Parker steps in as my fake boyfriend. This weekend was supposed to be a way for me to give back, get my name back out there, not to be doing festive–and somewhat romantic—activities with this hunk of a man whom I can’t seem to take my eyes off of.

The Holiday Assist is a kisses-only Christmas novella part of The Peppermint Playbook series. All books are standalone novels set in the same small town for a holiday charity event and are closed-door stories.
